Istanbul’s colossal size and rich cultural heritage means that there’s always something going on, and the city makes for a vibrant and beautiful backdrop for events, attracting a wide range of local and international names.

Every month in Istanbul sees a festival of some kind, with the city’s youthful population giving these events a dynamism that more than makes up for any lack of experience. Many of these events are superbly managed and promoted by the Istanbul Foundation for Arts and Cultures  which consistently attracts a roster of international big names. Now all they need to do is bring back the tortoises.

So do not hesitate to join in millons in order to experience the sights and sounds of Istanbul, whatever your interests may be. From modern art exhibitions to sporting events to live concerts, festivals and much, much more.
